Augustine V. Cardiel 84, passed away on April 26, 2011. Survived by his wife of 20 years, Alma Leticia Cardiel; children, Silvia Valdez, Mary F. Cardiel, Gabriel Cardiel, Carlos and (Jael) Solis; grandchildren, Rolando Valdez (Christina), Rosario Valdez, Venessa and Christopher Carreon, Eric Cardiel, Lajina and Juliano Cardiel, Ariel and Arcos Solis, Angelica Valdez and Marek Pogorzelski; great-grandchildren, Aylses, Johnny and Gabby Valdez; sisters, Mandy (Ralph) Montejano and Elvira (Alfonso) Lowe. Preceded in death by his first wife, Maria De Rosario (Chala); son, Hector V. Cardiel; mother, Amelia Valdez; brothers, Richard (Victoria) Fimbres, Raynaldo V. Fimbres (Alicia), Elberto V. (Carmen) Cardiel and in-laws, Margarito and Maria Rafaela Ochoa. He will be missed and loved by so many. Visitation will be at MARTINEZ FUNERAL CHAPELS on Thursday, May 5, 2011 from 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m., Rosary 7:00 p.m. Mass will be on Friday, May 6, 2011 at St. Johns Catholic Church at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow at Holy Hope Cemetery.
