Esther Jones

Esther Jones age 103, born into this life on February 25, 1908 in Cananea, Sonora, MX, passed into her new life August 5, 2011. The last of the fifth generation of descendants of Santiago Rivas Rodriguez and Juana Vasquez Higuera. Predeceased by husbands, James Moseley, Johnnie Jones, Jr. and Clifford Ray; sons, Jimmie Jones, Johnnie Jones III and two grandchildren. Survived by grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews from the familias Jones, Biggs and Mays and many friends from her neighborhood and St. John the Evangelist Church. Visitation is on Tuesday August 9, 2011, 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m., Rosary 7:00 p.m. at MARTINEZ FUNERAL CHAPELS. Mass will be Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at St. Johns Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m. Burial to follow at Nogales Cemetery in Nogales, Arizona.
