Patria Bonilla

Patria Bonilla age 84, entered into eternal peace on Friday, June 8, 2012. She was born in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico. After living in New York City, she made Tucson her home. She was passionate about sewing and yard sales. Survived by her two daughters, Maria Acevedo (Gil) and Jeanne Quintela (Anthony); several sisters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Tomas Martinez; two sons, Dino and Pete; her parents, three sisters, two brothers and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her closest family and friends, she was beloved by all who knew her. The family wishes to express their gratitude to her caregiver, Maria Miranda. Funeral Services will be on Thursday, June 14, 2012 beginning with a Visitation at MARTINEZ FUNERAL CHAPELS, from 8:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. followed by a Mass at 10:30 a.m. at St. Johns Church and then preceded to Holy Hope Cemetery for a burial.
