Alicia (Licha) Martinez Martinez born in El Paso, TX, October 24, 1925. Married the boy next door, Ralph G. Martinez, and they moved to Tucson in 1953. The Angels came to greet her on Thursday, July 5, 2012. She passed peacefully in the arms of her four children. No doubt Heaven is enhanced by Alicia and her love of singing and dancing. Preceded in death by her husband Ralph; siblings: Amalia, Hortenica, Pedro, Ignacio and Raul. Survived by her loving children, Alice Leon (Gilbert), Ralph Martinez (Julie), Jerry Martinez and Joey Martinez (Greg Hollman); siblings, Robert, Hermelinda, Lydia, Mario, Dora and Chepe; grandchildren, Ralphie III, Jerry (Angelica), Ernest, Leanna, Gilbert Anthony, Julissa, Mark (Melanie), Celina, Revina, Karina and Dailina (deceased); 17 great-grandchildren; extended family, Patsy. Visitation will be at MARTINEZ FUNERAL CHAPELS, on Friday, July 13, 2012 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Rosary 7:00 p.m. Mass will be on Saturday, July 14, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady Queen of All Saints, 2915 E. 36th St. Burial to follow at Holy Hope Cemetery. Reception to follow services at Martinez Funeral Chapels Reception Hall. Thank you to the staff at Devon Gables for assisting her the last two years and to Peppi's House at TMC Hospital, for making her transition so peaceful.
