Aurora SantaMarina

Aurora SantaMarina, 83, of Tucson, AZ. Our beloved mother, dearest aunt, treasured sister and fun loving grandmother, passed away Sunday, August 12, 2012 at home, peacefully, surrounded by her loving family. Aurora was born May 10, 1929, the first of eleven children to Francisco and Dolores Lopez. Aurora is survived by her sons; Thomas George Aros, John (Maria) SantaMarina and Bernie (Pat) SantaMarina; daughter; Susie SantaMarina, son-in-law Joe Rios and youngest son and caretaker Don Posey. She also leaves behind her four brothers, four sisters, 26 grandchildren, 59 great-grandchildren, 10 great-great grandchildren and numerous nephews and nieces. Aurora will rest in peace with her daughter, Lupe Ramos. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 17, 2012 from 8:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., Rosary at 10:00 a.m. An interment will follow visitation at Holy Hope Cemetery. Services with Martinez Funeral Chapels, 2580 S. 6th Ave., Tucson, AZ.
