Efren J. Cantu God blessed this earth and our lives on June 18, 1944 when Efren J. Cantu was born into this world. This Heavenly father called him home August 23, 2012. We are deeply saddened and grief stricken by this loss. Preceded in death by his mother, Leticia; sisters, Guadalupe and Yolanda and nephew, Pete Jr. Survived by his wife of 45 years, Angie; children, Mickey and Efren Jr. (Veronica); grandchildren, Fabian, Omar and Vanessa; brothers, Wencie (Brenda) and sister, Rosemary. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, September 1, 2012 at Santa Cruz Church at 11:15 a.m. Visitation will continue after Mass at MARTINEZ FUNERAL CHAPELS, 2580 S. 6th Ave., from 12:30 p.m. - 4:00 p.m., Rosary at 1:00 p.m. Services will conclude upon Visitation end
