Ruben "Tata" Redondo

Ruben "Tata" Redondo 81, passed away on September 14, 2012 leaving us with broken hearts and wonderful memories. He was born in Ruby, AZ on October 1, 1930. He served the US Army during the Korean War. He retired from BHP (Magma) Copper Co. after 43 years of service. Ruben was president of the Lions Club in Mammoth before moving to Tucson in 1971 where he became a member of the American Legion Sahuaro Post 68. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Antonia Redondo; children, Rachel Redondo, Ruben (Juanita) Redondo and Mary Ann Redondo; grandchildren, Ruben Redondo III, Vanessa Encinas, Nicole Redondo, Daniel Encinas and Martha-Monique Redondo; great-grandchild, Bailey Redondo and sister, Ramona Cranz. Visitation will be on Thursday, September 20, 2012 from 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m., Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at MARTINEZ FUNERAL CHAPELS, 2580 S. 6th Ave. with Mass on Friday, September 21, 2012 at Santa Cruz Church at 11:00 a.m. A burial to follow at Holy Hope Cemetery with Military Honors. www.martinezfuneralchapels.com
