John Joe Serrano, Jr.

John Joe Serrano, Jr. He was born in Superior, AZ and grew up in Tucson, AZ. Preceded in death by his father John Joe Serrano, Sr., cousins William, Lauro Jr. and Rita. He is survived by his children, Jazzmin Alize (9), Gabriela Rose (5) and Richard Romeo (3); mother, Laura J. Espinoza; step-father, Mark D. Coleman; sister, Sofia R. Serrano; grandparents, Richard S. and Gloria B. Espinoza; girlfriend, Lorraine Llamas; uncles, Lauro V. Espinoza; and many nieces, nephews, wonderful cousins, family and friends that he always had a special place in his heart for. At the age of 13 he started as a volunteer at Kidco and continued as an employee for 7 years. He was so proud of the time he spent there. In 2000 he graduated from Tucson High Magnet School. Johnny loved being a father and spending time with his family, fast cars and he loved listening to music. He was a kind and caring person who loved his children, family and friends deeply. His heart was filled with so many funny and crazy stories of all his life’s experiences. Please always remember how special everyone was to him and that he had a place in his heart for everyone. Let his memory live on forever through everyone. Services will be held on Saturday, December 15th from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Martinez Funeral Chapels, 2580 S. 6th Ave., Tucson, AZ.
