Sonia Patricia Rosales-Manor 4/4/1970 - 12/5/2012 To her friends, she was known as Sonia. To her family, she was Patty. But everyone knew her as the life of the party. She went to Heaven suddenly on December 5th, where she is reunited with her sister, Jessica. If Patty was in a room, you knew it. She was kind of loud -- in the best way -- constantly chatting, joking and laughing. She had a beautiful smile that put everyone at ease. She will be missed by her many friends and her large family. She is survived by parents, Maria and Francisco and five children, David (Maria), 22, Brianna, 16, Brittney, 10, Michael, 9 and Daisi, 7. She also leaves behind siblings Martin (Maria), Julio (Hilda), Claudia (Arnold), Rocio (Kevin) and Frank (Rosalina); along with former husband, Roy Manor. She was a wonderful aunt to Bianca, Josue, Alicia, Aricela, Jessica, Sarah, Samantha, Christian and Lily. Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. Thursday, December 13, 2012 at MARTINEZ FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2580 S. Sixth Ave., with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, December 14, 2012 at St. Augustine Cathedral, with burial to follow at Holy Hope Cemetery. Patty was exceptionally popular and had an abundance of wonderful, caring friends who are supporting the family in this difficult time. We all wish we could know what she was thinking in her final days and hours, but that will have to wait for another time and place. What we do know is that parties just won't be the same without her. We'll miss her always. May she rest in peace.
