Benjamin Saiz Molinar

Benjamin Saiz Molinar "Benny" age 83, of Tucson, AZ, passed away on Sunday, July 14, 2013. Dad was born in Carlsbad, NM on October 14, 1929 to Santiago Molinar and Candelaria Saiz. He was a member of the US Army Airborne Paratroopers 11th and 82nd Division, Knights of Columbus, United Brotherhood of the Carpenter Local 407, 857 and 4023. He was a master carpenter for over 40 years, a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and a member of the YMCA. Those left to cherish his memory include his beloved wife of over 60 years, Magdalena; two sons, Gerald and Willie (Martha); four daughters, Cynthia (Pete), Vanie (Don), Sharon (Alfred) and Katherine; 18 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, many nephews, nieces and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, granddaughter, Melissa Fuentes; brothers, Cruz, Santiago, Damas, Willie and Abel; sisters, Petra, Rachel and Clara. Visitation will be on Friday, July 19, 2013 at MARTINEZ FUNERAL CHAPELS from 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m., 7:00 p.m. Rosary. Mass will be on Saturday, July 20, 2013 at Sacred Heart Church at 10:00 a.m. followed by a burial at Southlawn Cemetery. Arrangements by MARTINEZ FUNERAL CHAPELS, 2580 S. 6th Ave., Tucson, AZ.
