Delia Yslas Carranza

A much loved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother; Delia Yslas Carranza affectionately known as "Grandma Dee", age 89, passed away peacefully into the arms of our Lord in the early hours of Friday, May 16th, 2014. She is now with her beloved, eternal love, Luis Mathias Carranza whom passed away on May 29th, 1981. Our precious Grandma Dee was born and raised in Nogales, Arizona. She was a dedicated mother and grandmother and a wonderful example of a Nogalian citizen. She was a pillar of the community and a faithful servant to her church, Sacred Heart Parish. Grandma Dee will be deeply missed by her four children; Francisco Xavier, Lupe Alma, Luis Alvaro (Irene) and Carlos Alejandro (Annette); nine grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, her extended family and many friends. Her services will be held on Thursday, May 29th at Sacred Heart Parish beginning with a Visitation at 1:30 p.m., Rosary at 2:00 p.m. and Holy Mass at 2:30 p.m. Followed by a depository of ashes at the City of Nogales Cemetery.
