Dr. Richard L. Ornelas, Deacon

Dr. Richard L. Ornelas, Deacon, went to be with the Lord at the age of 74 on September 11, 2014. His is survived by his loving wife, Lupe Ornelas; sons, Dr. William P. Ornelas and Dr. Richard P. Ornelas; daughters, Teresa P.O. Toro and Veronica P.O. Wheatley; 12 grandchildren, William M. Ornelas, Jessica L. Ornelas, Angelica M. Ornelas, Gabriella Ornelas, Joseph Ornelas, Santos D. Barbosa III, Alexa Ornelas, Jose Angel Toro, Araceli Barbosa, Cristian Barbosa, Dominic Ornelas and Giovanni Ornelas; son-in-laws, Jose Francisco Toro and Dennis Wheatley; brothers, Robert Ornelas, Eduardo Ornelas and Arthur Ornelas and a sister, Evangelina Lugo. Our beloved father served the community as a Chiropractor for 45 years (since 1969) and a Deacon for 18 years (since 1996). We love you dad! Visitation will be on Friday, September 12th at Martinez Funeral Chapels, 2580 S. 6th Ave. from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. A Rosary will follow at Santa Cruz Church at 7:30 p.m. Mass will be on Saturday, September 13th at 11:30 a.m. at Santa Cruz Church. Services will conclude upon Mass end.
