Emma Liera Romero

ROMERO, Emma Liera, 77, of Tucson, AZ went to meet her maker September 6, 2014. She was born in Cananea, Sonora Mexico. She is survived by Maria Enriqueta Romero, daughter; Iman Khalaf, granddaughter; Hilda Sainz, niece and Martin Ochoa, nephew. She was preceded in death by her son, Jesus Alberto Romero; sister, Juana Leon de Castro and her brother, Ramon Romero. She is also survived by many other loving relatives and friends. Emma was a long time employee of St Mary's Hospital. After retiring, she enjoyed volunteering, including at Casa Maria. Visitation and Services will be Wednesday, September 10, 2014 at MARTINEZ FUNERAL CHAPELS from 9:00 a.m. to Service time. Holy Rosary will be recited at 9:30 a.m. Mass will follow at 11:00 a.m. at Santa Cruz Catholic Church. Burial will be at Southlawn Cemetery. A reception will be held at Martinez Reception Hall next to the funeral home after the burial service.
