Lupe Tapia

Lupe was surrendered unto our Lord's graces on September 19, 2014 at the age of 63 years. She was the mother of three children, her son Rick(Lara) and two Daughters Elsie and Valerie; 17 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother Dolores and brothers Manny and Ralph. Lupe was loved by many as she was a spirited woman, known for her larger than life smile and she was able to find the good in everything and in everyone as she always kept a positive outlook on life regardless of the situation. She was known as "The Mom" by all of her family as she was a devoted mother and grandmother, and spent countless hours chasing around her great-grandchildren. She also cared for and looked after a very special girl named Marissa who adored her as her special care giver. Lupe would spend her free time by going out with her sister Diane to meet with her many friends to laugh and reflect upon all of the things that made her happy. She will be missed by all who know and love her. Her viewing will be held on Wednesday, October 1, 2014 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Martinez Funeral Chapels-Tucson, located at 2580 S. 6th Ave.
