Ruth C. Ortiz, 81, of Tucson, AZ. passed away on September 27, 2014. Beloved mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. Preceded in death by her father Edward Cruz, her mother Amelia V. Cruz, brothers; Ralph, Edward and Frank, sisters; Irene, Dolores and Lupita, sons; Henry, Raoul, Raymond and Eddie, grandson; Daniel Figuiroa and Roland Torres, great grand-daughter; Avery Pepper Galas. Survived by brothers; Mike and Manuel Cruz, sons; Roy (Rosie) Matas, Daniel Matas, daughters; Amelia (Carl) Witty and Ruth Miranda. Many Many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Visitation will be on Thursday, October 2, 2014 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a 7:00 p.m. Rosary, at Martinez Funeral Chapels, 2580 S. 6TH Ave. Tucson, Az. 85713. A Mass will be held on Friday, October 3, 2014 at Santa Cruz Church at 11:00 a.m. A burial will follow at Holy Hope Cemetery.
