Reynaldo V. Cantua "El Yayo", 74, passed away on October 29, 2014. Survived by his beloved wife Gloria Cantua; children, Francisco Cantua, Rita Cantua and Adriana Cantua; brother, Daniel Cantua; sister, Eva Barba; 5 grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his sister, Eva Barba. He was passionate about preparing meals for family and friends celebrating special events like his children's Quinceñeras. In his past-time he enjoyed watching baseball and football. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and was a wonderful father to his children. Taken too soon, but never forgotten. We love you and will miss you greatly! Services will be on Monday, November 3, 2014 at Martinez Funeral Chapels, 891 W. Mariposa, Nogales, AZ from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Mass will be on Tuesday, November 4, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at San Felipe Catholic Church in Nogales, AZ. Services will continue in Nogales, Sonora at Funeraria Nogales from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. followed by Mass at 3:00 p.m. at the Iglesia Sagrada Familia. Burial will be in the Cementerio Nacional. Le sobreviven su esposa Gloria Cantua; hijos; Francisco Cantua, Rita Cantua and Adriana Cantua; hermano, Daniel Cantua; hermana, Eva Barba; nietos, Jonathon, Renee, Sebastian, Daniella y Andre; y muchos sobrinos, sobrinas y amigos. A el le apasionaba preparar comidas para la familia y amigos para celebrar eventos especiales como Quinceañeras de sus hijos. En su tiempo libre disfrutaba ver el béisbol y el fútbol. Le encantaba pasar tiempo con sus nietos y era un maravilloso padre para sus hijos. Tomado antes de tiempo, pero nunca olvidado. Te amamos y te extrañaremos mucho! Servicios seran el dia Lunes, noviembre 3, 2014 en Martinez Funeral Chapels , 891 W. Mariposa rd. nogales, Arizona de 5pm a 9pm. Misa el dia Martes, Noviembre 4, 2014 a las 10am en San Felipe de Jesus. Servicios continuaran en la funeraria Nogales de 11am a 2pm misa a las 3pm en la Iglecia Sagrada Familia. entierro en el Cementerio Nacional de Nogales, Sonora.
