Alice Frances Islava

Alice Frances Islava, 54, of Tucson passed away peacefully on January 8, 2015. Alice was born in Tucson Arizona on August 25, 1960 to Alfred and Sally Herran. Alice is survived by Sergio Islava her loving husband of 31 years. Her children Krystal Islava (Angel), Kristina Islava (Savastian Sr.), Krystian Islava (Carlos Adrian Sr.). She loved her grandchildren unconditionally; Angel Jr., Gabriel, Carlos Adrian Jr., Sevastian Jr., Josiah and her only grand-daughter; Kharyzma, brother Alfred Herran Jr. (Maria), sister; Marie (Bibi) Huerta, (Ruben), nieces; Carina and Anyssa, nephew; Ruben Angel, mother-in-law; Maria Del Socorro Flores Luque and all the Islava familia from Mexico and many cousins, aunts, uncles and friends. Proceeded in death by grandparents; Mercedes Villegas, Saturnino Herran, Anita Borquez, Carlos Gomez and niece Alyssa Herran. She actively enjoyed spending time with her grandkids and passing her spare time at bingo with all her friends. She fought long and hard until she couldn't fight anymore. She was extremely tired and decided to let the Lord call her home. Alice Islava; mother, daughter, aunt sister, niece, cousin and friend....you will be extremely missed. A special thanks to Peppi's House for making her last days her most comfortable. She shall suffer No More, as she makes her way to be our Guardian Angel. We shall no say good-bye, but see you later! Visitation will be at Martinez Funeral Chapels, 2580 S. 6th Ave., Tucson, Az. 85713 on Wednesday, January 14, 2015 from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Rosary will be recited at 9:00 a.m. A mass will be held at St. Augustine Church at 10:30 a.m. Reception to follow immediately after at 1993 W.
