Timothy John Carlisle

Timothy John Carlisle, 52 of Tucson, AZ passed away January 7, 2015. Survived by his wife; Patricia Carlisle, sons; John Joseph Carlisle, Andrew Carlisle, Adam Carlisle. On the afternoon of January 7, 2015,John passed away peacefully after a five-month battle with cancer. John was being visited and comforted with family members and friends at the UMC hospital in Tucson AZ. At the time of his passing, John was 52 years old. Timothy John Carlisle was born on November 16, 1962 at 7:15 a.m. at St. Joseph's Hospital. John worked for Raytheon systems for 30 years. John was very dedicated to his job and his family. John was deeply loved and will be terribly missed. My husband was taking too soon, but my comfort is that he is no longer in pain from his horrible disease. And I will see him again one day. " Death is nothing at all, I have only slipped away into the next room, I am I, and you are you, Whatever we were to each other, that we are still, Call me by my old familiar name, Speak to me in the same easy way which you always did, Put no difference into your tone; Wear no forced air of solemnity or sorrow. Laugh as we always laughed at the little jokes we enjoyed together. Play, smile, think of me, pray for me. Let my name be the household word that it always was. Let it be spoken without effect, without the shadow of a ghost on it. Life means all that it ever meant. It is the same as it ever was; there is absolutely unbroken continuity, Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight? I am just waiting for you, for an interval, somewhere very near, just around the corner. All is well." Visitation will be held at Martinez Funeral Chapels, 2580 S. 6th Avenue, Tucson AZ on Friday, January 16, 2015 from 10:00a.m. to 1:00p.m. with a rosary recited at 11:30a.m. Services Entrusted to Martinez Funeral Chapels.
