Dolores, AKA to most people, Lola lived a very colorful life and has been able to experience a full spectrum of life. She started out in life as a nursing assistant and within the field of compassion, caring and the need to help anyone she could; she was able to bring happiness into the lives of others. Then she made a career change and went into business administration and property management for 16 years. After that she was fortunate enough to end her last 5 working years of her life as a care taker, along with her husband. One of the things she loved the most was watching her kids play sports. She was the best mom and had our hallway, covered top to bottom, with pictures of Eddie and Lisa playing football, baseball, softball, and cheerleading. She also loved watching Can cheer and dance her way through life. There was not anything that she would not do for her kids. She sewed our clothes and made matching outfits for her and Lisa. She always wanted nothing less than the best for us but now it is time for her to have nothing less than the best. Lola resided at Mountain Village Senior Living Center in Show Low Arizona prior to moving to Tucson with her daughter Can, and lived in Arizona for a total of 21 years. She was raised and spent her younger years in San Diego CA. She belonged to the community of St. Rita Church in Show Low, AZ. Her faith in God and within the St. Rita Church community, was strengthened as they were able to protect and watch over her and our father during their time of need. Lola was an excellent cook and has taught many people how to cook, bake, and make “secret sauces”. She had such a giving spirit, loved everyone, and always wanted to visit and converse with others. Lola will be missed, loved, and remembered; but never forgotten. Her smile will shine on in all of the hearts she has touched. She has been freed of all her pain and suffering. Then he said, “Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom”, he replied to him, “Amen I say to you, today you will be with me in Paradise”. Luke 23:43 And keep in your hearts, Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall inherit the earth! Lola, may you rest in peace.
