Arturo Antonio Medina was born in Tucson, Arizona on August 24, 1985. he entered Heaven's gates on January 20, 2015. Arturo was a loving son, brother, father, and friend. he would do anything to help his family. Growing up, his greatest love was playing football for Pop Warner Youth Football and Boxing. As an adult, Arturo enjoyed spending his free time taking care of his babies and spending time with family and friends. Arturo is survived by his parents Arthur Medina and Augustina Van Alstine, his two brothers Mario Medina and Ronnie Medina, his sister Amanda Medina Monteverde, mother of his children; Erica Mendoza, his son Arturo Medina IV, his daughters Anita Medina and Anaisia Medina, his grandparents Arthur Medina Sr. and Lupe Medina, Rene and Stella Van Alstine, Linda and Leonard Hernandez, and his Godparents Theodore "Teddy" Acosta and Karleen Acosta. Arturo is also survived by lots of Aunts, Uncles, Nephews, Nieces and Cousins. When you go out I prayed things would be good once again. I told you, you have 3 wonderful children, now it's your turn to raise them, but now you're gone. You left with beautiful memories of your childhood and growing up with you we both taught each other a lot through the road of life. Now I too let go and say goodbye, but mijo, go with the Lord. You were and are an amazing young man, father and I was so very proud to be your mother. I still hear you tell me "I love you as high as the sky as the far as the stars can go. I will forever love you, as a mother will never let go. I believe you are really free now walking with Jesus..I love you mom. Mother of Arturo I am going to miss you, your laugh, your smile, your joking around with me, and your babies telling us how much you love us. We have so many good memories with each other. All you wanted was for us to be a family. We were blessed to have 3 beautiful children. You were so happy to be with them.
