Consuelo ''Connie" Hernandez

Consuelo “Connie” Hernandez, 71 of Tucson AZ. Was born October 22,1943 in Mammoth, AZ and passed away February 14, 2015. She is survived by her children Tina (Tom), Veronica (Charles), Eddie (Steve) and Cristal (Jose); her grandchildren Estrella (Humberto),Tommy (Michelle), Bianca(Ishi), Sabrina (Richard), Jo-Jo, Jose L., Xavier, Harley, Nikolette (Bryan), Burnette and Andre; her great-grandchildren Layla and Clive; and sisters Nelly and Margarita. Our beloved Mother, Nana, Abuelita, Sister and Tia has fought a tremendously hard battle with cancer, but she fought it with her family cheering her on giving her the strength and love she needed to continue to push through until the very end. She showed us how brave and strong she was to keep fighting and we love her for going through everything she did to get an extra day with us. We know she is now at peace and does no longer have to face that battle, but enjoying her After Life with her three children Ray, Pam and Elizabeth. Our Mom was a simple woman who enjoyed shopping, cooking, watching her novelas, listening to her music and dancing, but most of all spending time with her loved ones. We would like to express our gratitude to our family and friends who have loved, prayed and supported our Mother and family through this journey.
