Robert Lennis Napier

Robert Lennis Napier passed away Monday, August 10, 2015 in Tucson, AZ. Robert was a wonderful father, grandfather and devoted husband who will be missed dearly by family, friends and the many people whose lives he impacted. Robert was born April 16, 1938 in Portland, Oregon. He attended the University of Oregon in Eugene, OR where he was a member of the Phi Kappa Psi fraternity and graduated with a degree in Landscape Architecture. Robert served in the United States Navy and National Guard. He lived in Eugene for many years before moving to Nogales, AZ where he worked as an Architect for several years and most recently worked as a Senior Building Inspector for Santa Cruz County. Robert enjoyed many things throughout his life including mountaineering, auto racing and auto crossing, working on his BMW’s and his time with the BMW Car Club of America, traveling around the world and watching his Oregon Ducks play football. For those who knew him he had an amazing spirit and was kind, generous and always willing to help others. He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years Maria Luisa Napier, son Lennis Christopher Napier, daughter-in-law Ashley S.
