Sr. Jorge Bon, 87, our beloved father, passed away on Valentine's day, surrounded by his adoring children; George (Nora) Bon, Dorina Bon, Jose Bon, Edilia (John) Bon Garcia, Mike (Cynthia) Bon and Georgina (Arnold) Bon. He has joined his beautiful wife, Elvira, and we can only be comforted by that amazing reunion. Born on February 7, 1929 in Ajo, AZ. Sgt. Jorge Bon proudly served his country in the Army during the Korean War. He then dedicated his life to his wife and children to become the amazing husband, father and grand/great grandfather that he was. He will be missed by his 16 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. He is also survived by his sisters, Consuelo Cicero and Guadalupe Bon Inclan. Preceded in death by parents, Rosa Bon and Jose Bon Canastillo; his sister, Maria Rosa Bon and his brother, Heriberto Jose Bon. Our father was such and exceptional and respected man to many. His home was his pride next to his children. Humble and welcoming to all. He loved his Wildcats, Diamondbacks and those casinos. Thank you Daddy for your wisdom, your strength and your love. Visitation is on Thursday, February 18, 2016 at Martinez Funeral Chapels from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 pm., Rosary 7:00 p.m. Mass will be on Friday, February 19, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Santa Monica Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Holy Hope Cemetery with Military Honors. Reception at the Martinez Funeral Chapels Reception Hall.
