Eduardo L. Perez, 88, passed away peacefully at home on February 23, 2016. Eddie was born August 28, 1927 in Miami, AZ to Julio and Guadalupe Perez. Predeceased by son, Mark Edward, sister Catalina Perez, and brothers Alfredo and Gustavo. Eddie is survived by his loving sweetheart and wife of 56 years, Connie C. Perez, son Michael, and daughter Tina (Velma), grandsons Robertino and Jacob (Priscilla), great grandson Jacob Christian, and four step-great grandchildren Fabian, Mia, Emily and Anthony. Eddie is survived by his four sisters-in-law whom he loved very much, Vicky Cañez, Carmen Camacho, Bertha Perez, Dora Perez, and special nephew Sergio (Jackie) Puig, and cousin Ruth Benitez. Eddie is also survived by many, many nieces, nephews, god-children, and friends. Eddie retired in October of 1991 from Citizen Auto Stage after 41 years of service. Eddie loved and enjoyed his family so much and took pride in being a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. His favorite past-time was flirting with his sweetheart and holding hands with her at every opportunity. He was a true friend to anyone who needed a helping hand and offered everyone his smile and if you were lucky, a joke or two. Eddie liked going out to dinner, playing the slot machines at the Casinos, watching wrestling, and baseball. He led a fun and loving life. We would like to thank family and friends for their outpouring of love and support, words cannot express our gratitude to each of you. Services will be on Wednesday, March 2, 2016 at Santa Cruz Church with Rosary at 10:30 a.m. and Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Interment following at Holy Hope Cemetery.
