Roy M. Camarena

Roy Camarena was called to his eternal resting place on March 5, 2016 at the age of 54. Roy was a loving son, brother, husband, father, and friend to so many. He was preceded in death by mother Delfina Martinez-Robles, father Francisco Robles, and sister Carmen Robles. He is survived by his Wife, Sylvia; Brother, Raymond; Son, Federico (Vanessa); Daughters: Erica (Chris) and Jessica; Grandchildren, Issac, Cristabella, Aaron, and Malachi. To know Roy one would have to wander into his yard and strike up a conversation. It would not take long to discover he was the master of his domain, and a jack-of-all-trades. Nothing would stop him from doing what he enjoyed. With his growing disabilities, he always managed to muster up the strength to get outside and attend to his rose garden, his grandious bird habitat filled with close to a few dozen parakeets and cockatiels; to tinkering with his latest projects from building a new bike for his grandkids. Roy will be remembered for all these including his passion for fish. Whether it be a fresh catch from Silverbell Lake or filling an aquarium full with fancy colorful angelfish. Whatever task he set out to do it was done meticulously and with pride. All are welcome to come and attend Roy’s memorial. Visitation will be held Monday, March 14, 2016 from 8:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Martinez Funeral Chapels, 2580 S 6th Ave, Tucson, AZ 85713. Celebration of life will start at 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Burial to follow at Holy Hope Cemetery & Mausoleum 3555 N Oracle Rd, Tucson, AZ 85705.
