Arturo Romo Ortiz, Born in Saric, Sonora, Mexico, June 22, 1933 - March 9, 2016. Preceded in death by his wife, Leonor. Survived by three sisters; Rosario (Chayito), Maria Jesus and Maria Dolores. Six children; Julie (Patrick), Arturo, Olga (Mike), Olivia (Paul), Leonardo, & Nolberto. Nine grandchildren, three great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and friends. A strong, loving, proud, hardworking rancher and cowboy who helped anyone and every one. He was tough, expected the best and never backed down from a fight. His embrace was felt by all and will be missed. His footprint was even bigger! A cowboy on his last ride. Love you! Visitation will be held at Martinez Funeral Chapels, 2580 S. 6th Ave, on Friday, March 18, 2016, from 8:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. with mass at 11:00 a.m. at Santa Cruz Church. Un fuerte, amoroso, orgulloso, trabajador ganadero y vaquero. Ayudó a todos. Fue un hombre fuerte, esperaba lo mejor de uno y nunca se retractó de una pelea. Su huella fue aún mayor!
