Eva G. Soto

Eva G. Soto, 80, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister was called to her eternal resting place on May 6, 2016. She entered this world on July 2, 1935 in Tucson, AZ, born to Luis Gradillas and Rosario Rivera Gradillas. Preceded in death by her beloved husband of 49 years, Ralph O. Soto, Sr., sons, Little Louie Humberto Soto, Henry Soto and Ralph Soto, Jr. She is survived by her daughter, Lucy Arvizu (Walter) and Lydia Soto; and grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sisters and brothers. Eva was an exceptional baker. She was a long-time employee of the Sunnyside School District where she baked for the cafeteria. In her past-time she enjoyed gardening and growing her beautiful roses. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Eva was loved by many and will be greatly missed. Visitation will be held at Martinez Funeral Chapels on Friday May 13, 2016 from 8:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., Rosary at 9:00 a.m. Mass will be at 11:00 a.m. at Santa Cruz Catholic Church followed by a burial at Holy Hope Cemetery.
