Hortencia Brito Orantez

Hortencia Brito Orantez, 90, beloved Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother, passed away on May 13, 2016 to be with our Heavenly Father, with her family by her side. Preceded in death by her beloved husband of 65 years, George Q. Orantez, Sr. , son, Gerardo B. Orantez. She is survived by her 8 children, George Jr. (Ida), Margaret, Armando (Andrea), Barbara, Esmerelda, Robert (Lily), Estevan (Brenda) Debbie (Joe) and her 30 grandchildren, 48 great grandchildren and 10 great great grandchildren. Hortencia loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed. Viewing will be held at Martinez Funeral Chapels on Wednesday, May 18, 2016 from 5:00 p.m to 9:00 p.m. Rosary will take place at 8:00 p.m. Mass will be May 19, 2016 at 9:00 a.m. at Santa Monica Church. Burial to follow at Holy Hope Cemetery.
