Maria J. Paz

Maria J. Paz “Chula” was called home on July 2nd, 2016. She was born July 14th, 1932 in Nogales, Sonora, Mexico. She lived most of her life in Nogales, AZ with a brief stay in Idaho. She is survived by her children; Lucia Paz, Heriberto Paz, Ivonne Siaza, Maricela Chavez, Jose G. Paz, Enrique Martinez, Claudia Paz and Omar Martinez. She had 45 grandchildren and 37 great-grandchildren. Chula was full of life! She loved to have large parties. She would be dancing and drinking along with everybody else. Everyday Chula would make sure she was wearing her red lipstick and red high heels. She especially loved her large family and would always say “Que dios te bendiga.” Anybody she meet would immediately become a part of her already large family. She would always make sure to do whatever she could to help out the people she loved. Mass will be held in her honor at Sacred Heart Church in Nogales, Arizona on July 19th at 2:30 p.m. Arrangements entrusted to Martinez Funeral Chapels.
