Delfina Islas Rodriguez

Delfina Islas Rodriguez, 97, loving Wife, Mother, and Grandmother was called to her eternal resting place on July 17, 2016. She entered this world on March 10, 1919 in Navojoa, Sonora, Mexico, born to Rosario and Isabel Islas. She is survived by her beloved husband whom she was married to for almost 72 years, Nabor O. Rodriguez, Sr.; her sons, Nabor I. Rodriguez, Jr. (Irene) and Armando "Baby" I. Rodriguez (Laura); brother, Armando Carrasco Islas; 5 grandchildren: Nabor N. Rodriguez (Imelda), Isabel Rodriguez-Clarke (Steve), Angelica Maria Zimmerman(Steve), Laura Elena Rodriguez and Yvette Delfina Corella (Jesus); 13 great-grandchildren and a great-great grand-daughter. Services will be on Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at Sacred Heart Church beginning with a Rosary at 9:30 a.m. and followed by Mass at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be at the Patagonia Cemetery. Arrangements by Martinez Funeral Chapels, 891 W. Mariposa Rd., Nogales, AZ.
