George Luis Hernandez

Hernandez, George Luis age 70 passed into the Lord’s arms on August 11, 2016. He is survived by his loving wife, Roberta; his children Alex Godoy, Arturo Godoy, Fernando Godoy, Evelyn Godoy and Linda Godoy; sisters, Grace Valencia, Angie Correa Carpio; brother, Jose Ramon Miller; nieces, nephews, many grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents Rita and Henry Hernandez. George honorably served in the U.S Army in the Combat Aviation Unit and fought in the Vietnam War in 1967. After being honorably discharged he devotedly served in the National Guard. He was a loving and caring man who gave unconditional love. He lived for the happiness of his family and his big smile will live in our hearts forever. A memorial service celebrating George’s life will be held from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm on Friday, August 19, 2016 at Martinez Funeral Chapels, 2580 S. 6th Ave, Tucson Arizona 85713. Interment of ashes will be held at Monte Calvario Cemetery, 5149 W. Omokol, Tucson, AZ 85757.
