Catherine "Chicadee" Macias, 86, beloved mother, wife, grandmother,great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend was called to her eternal resting place on September 6, 2016. She entered this world on April 13, 1930 in Phoenix, AZ, born to Arthur and Alicia Kingman. She is survived by her beloved husband, Felix Macias Sr.; daughters, Catherine Ballard, Alice Escobar, Felicia(Lee) Heller and Christine(Robert) Deleon; sons, Felix Macias Jr. and Michael (Cathy) McLaughlin; grandchildren, Denise MacRae, Jacob Munoz Sr., Leandra Munoz, Felisha Macias, Kyle Macias, Jade Heller, Ricky Varela and Isabella Avila; great-grandchildren, Jacob, Brandon and Anthony MacRae, Kylee, Jacob Jr."Vato" and James Munoz, Jayden Diaz Marquez, Riccie and Sofia Varela. Mariano"Nano"Roybal. Chicadee loved the outdoors, camping, fishing, going to the river, cooking, watching softball, baseball, basketball, tennis and Keeping up with the Kardashians. She also loved being in the spanish choir and visiting with family and friends. "I haven't really left you even though it may seem so. I've gone to my heavenly home and am closer than you know" A Rosary and Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, September 9, 2016 at St. Augustine Cathedral, Tucson AZ.
