Manuela Hurtado, 81, beloved Mother, was called to her eternal resting place on December 9, 2016. She entered this world on July 26, 1935 in Sonora, Mexico, born to Jesus and Ruth Encinas Galindo. She was reunited with her husband, Henry T. Hurtado Sr., her youngest son, Gilbert Hurtado (Elizabeth); sister, Josephina Owen (William) and nephew, William Owen Jr. (Suzie). She is survived by her son, Ray (Evelyn); daughter, Margaret Dimas (Juan); son, Henry T. Jr. (Lupe); son, Jojo (Blanca); son, William (Tabitha); son, Jerry (Ana); Brother, Jesus G. Encinas (✝Ramona); 25 Grandchildren 65 Great-Grandchildren; 6 Great-Great Grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation will be on Thursday, December 15, 2016 at Martinez Funeral Chapels from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Mass services will be on Friday, December 16, 2016 at Our Lady Queen of All Saints 2915 E. 36th St. at 10:00 am. Burial will follow at Holy Hope Cemetery. She will be remembered for her family and her fondness of elephants. We are asking everyone to wear purple in honor of Nana Nelly because we all know how much she loved the color purple.
