Francine Ceceña, 56, beloved Wife and Mother, was called to her eternal resting place on January 8, 2017, following a year long battle with cancer. She entered this world on July 13, 1960 in Tucson, AZ, born to Andy and Jeanie Tellez. She is survived by her loving husband of 28 years, Francisco Ceceña; mother, Jeanie Tellez; father-in-law, Ramon Ceceña; son, Andres (Cynthia) Carroll V; daughter, Jyllissa-Rheann (Michael) Dorelin; son, Rodolfo-Antonio Ceceña; grandsons, Diego Andres Monarrez, Carlos Anthony Carroll; granddaughter, Marissa Cataleya Carroll; sisters, Elizabeth (Robert) Cota, Evelyn (Phillip) Koestel; brother, Andres (Alma) Tellez; numerous Godchildren, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, Tias, Tios, In-laws and friends. Francine was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy. She was a dedicated fan to the Oregon Ducks and Pittsburgh Steelers. Francine lived a full life beginning with dancing at recitals, cooking, baking, and cake decorating during her teen years, participating in Pom Line at Jr. High School, Baton Twirling in High School, and playing city league softball as a young adult. Francine and Francisco continued to live life to the fullest, traveling often to California, to visit their grandchildren. They were devoted parishioners of St. Monica's Catholic Parish, where their children were altar servers. Together they actively supported their children's activities like Soccer, Football, and Pom Line. Whether that meant coaching, being team parent or simply attending to cheer them on. They continued being loyal fans following their grandchildren's activities. Francine loved spending time with family and friends, dancing, going to bingo, karaoke ("Proud Mary" will forever be reserved for her) or just sharing a meal together. Francisco lovingly cared for Francine throughout her courageous fight and was continuously by her side. Though in pain, due to sickness, Francine was graciously humble to everyone in her life. Francine took a little bit of each of us with her, her cheery smile and beautiful soul will be painfully missed by those who knew and loved her. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, January 19, 2017. Visitation will be at Martinez Funeral Chapel from 8:00 to 9:30 am; with a rosary at 8:30 am. Holy Mass will be at St. Monica’s Catholic Parish, at 10:00 am. Burial will follow at Holy Hope Cemetery.
