Joe M. Grinie was born on March 19, 1942. Beloved husband and father was called to his eternal resting place on January 15, 2017. He is survived by his beautiful wife of 53 years; Lucy Grinie and four children; Alice (Johnny) Dominguez, Joe R. Grinie, Larry Grinie and Magen (Ruben) Vasquez, 18 grandchildren, and 20 great grandchildren. Jackie (5), Kristina (4), Ashley, Vanessa (2), Valerie (1), Michael (1), Nevaeh, Cassandra (3), Larry Jr. (2), Angelica (2), Eryka, Emilio, Nadia, Armando, Belicia and Kristian. Also known to him as grandchildren; Vanessa, David and Steven. He is survived by his siblings; Elisa (Mario) Kirker, Gilbert (Gloria) Grinie, Patricio Grinie, Ramona (Henry) Gomez, John Grinie and Ermelinda (Ernie) Hinojosa. He is preceded in death by his granddaughter; Anissa Vasquez and grandson; Steven Grinie, parents; Joe and Elvira Grinie, brothers; Manuel "Toby" Grinie, Jose and Louella Arrellin. "Big Dad" will be very missed for his gourmet hand in the kitchen, silly hat days, singing to his hijos with his guitar, and his all around silly character that would make anyone who walked into his home feel welcomed. In his last years he was known to stay strong and courageous for his children who were the center of his universe. You will be missed greatly, we love you.
