Raymundo Martínez, 88, esposo y padre amoroso, fue recibido al reino de Dios el 27 de enero 2017. El orgullo de Raymundo era su familia y su devoción a la fe Católica. Anticipaba con emoción festejar su septuagésimo aniversario este marzo con su amada esposa, María Luz Martínez. Le gustaba festejar los cumpleaños y salir de cita con su esposa, noche de casino era entre sus preferidos, al igual que algún lugar con buena música. Raymundo hizo de su carrera su gran pasión por los vehículos y se dedicó a la carrocería y otras mecánicas automovilísticas. Tenía una dedicación respetable a su labor, le llamaban con cariño 'El Tamalito', e inspiró a sus hijos construir sus careras en asuntos automotrices. Era un hombre de estilo peculiar, obtiene el cariño y afecto de la comunidad y será echado de menos por muchos amigos. Le sobrevive su esposa, María Luz Martinez; hijos, Joaquin Martinez, Raymundo Martinez (Yolanda), Carlos Martinez (Jeannette) y Gerardo Martínez (Teresa); hijas, Rosario Garcia (Luis Manuel), Marilú Espinosa (Gilberto) e Imelda Calzadillas (Angel); 16 nietos y más de 25 bisnietos. Los servicios inician con duelo el martes, 31 de enero 2017, de 5:00 p.m. a 9:00 p.m. con rosario recitado a las 7:00 p.m. en la capilla de Funeraria Martinez en Nogales. La celebración de misa será el miércoles, 1ero de febrero 2017 en la Parroquia de San Felipe de Jesus a las 12:00 p.m.; siguiendo será la sepultura en el Cementerio Municipal de Nogales. Raymundo had great pride in his family and entrusted his faith strongly in the Catholic Religion. He was very excited to celebrate 70 years of marriage this coming March with his loving wife, Maria Luz Martinez. He liked celebrating birthdays and enjoyed going on dates with his wife, his favorite was Casino nights and any event including good music. Raymundo made a career in his passion, vehicle body building and other automotive mechanics. He was very dedicated to his career, El Tamalito, as he was affectionally called, inspired his sons to pursue their own career in automotive affairs. He was a man of particular style, was very loved by the community and will be missed by many friends. He is survived by his wife, Maria Luz Martinez; Sons, Joaquin Martinez, Raymundo Martinez (Yolanda), Carlos Martinez (Jeannette) and Gerardo Martínez (Teresa); daughters, Rosario Garcia (Luis Manuel), Marilú Espinosa (Gilberto) and Imelda Calzadillas (Angel); 16 grandchildren and over 25 great-grandchildren. Services will commence Tuesday, January 31, 2017, from 5:00 p.m. To 9:00 p.m. with a rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. at Martinez Funeral Chapels in Nogales. A Mass Celebration will be held on Wednesday, February 1, 2017, at San Felipe de Jesus Parish at 12:00 p.m. with a burial to follow at Nogales City Cemetery.
