To her, family was everything and she was passionately devoted to her soulmate and partner, Alberto. As a widow she thought about her Alberto everyday eventually succumbing to her broken heart. She enjoyed many delights in life like the blessings of many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, whom she sung to with old children's music. She had recently visited Disneyland with her daughter and found amusement in the "Small World" ride. She had the pleasure of great people around her like "sus muchachas" has she would call them. Her infectious charm was fun in that she was someone who enjoyed dressing-up on Halloween. She enjoyed live plants like Rose flowers and she loved poetry and could recite it, "En vida hermano" was a favorite of hers. She was light-hearted in her transactions of business and was such an asset that by the time she retired from Capins Mercantile she could enlighten a fellow lady-patron on the proper brassiere to bust ratio just by looking at them. She accepted her in-laws and loved and admired all of her children's spouses has if they were her own. She never wanted to be the person to judge and would remain objective in family quarrels.
