Leonard B. Ruiz, Jr.

Leonard B Ruiz "Junior", 32, was called to his eternal resting place on February 10, 2017.  He entered this world on December 14, 1984 in Tucson, Arizona, born to Leonard and Jenny Ruiz.  Junior is survived by his parents, Jenny and Leonard Ruiz of Tucson, AZ; his sisters, Sabrina (Luis A) Valencia of Tucson, AZ and Elizabeth (Jorge) Duran of Chandler, AZ and his brother, Jacob Ruiz of Tucson, AZ.  He also leaves behind his maternal grandparents; Fernando and Katie Martinez of Tucson, AZ; paternal grandfather, Fernando Ruiz of Tucson, AZ; his young nephews, Luis A "Gordo" Valencia lll and Christopher A. Valencia both of Tucson, AZ; Jorge D. "JD" Duran and Jayden S. Duran, both of Chandler, AZ and numerous loving aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of amazing friends.  He is preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Artemisa B "Micha" Ruiz; his great uncles, Pedro "Chano" Ruiz and Edward "Eddie" Ruiz; his aunt Kathy Martinez; his cousins Gerrad Romero, Tiffany Martinez and Josh Gradillas.  Funeral services are scheduled at Martinez Funeral Chapels in Tucson on Sunday, February 26, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a rosary recited at 7:00 p.m.  Mass will be celebrated at Santa Monica Church on Monday, February 27, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. followed by a burial at Holy Hope Cemetery.
