Maria "Lupe" G. Gutierrez

Maria G. Gutierrez "Lupe", 73, beloved mother, nana, niece, cousin, friend and sister in the Lord, went to be with her Lord on March 1, 2017. She passed away peacefully in bed, at home, while in her sleep, as she had always hoped. She entered this world on December 1, 1943 in Tucson, AZ, born to and preceded in death by her parents, Alfonso O. Rivera and Manuela Z. Rivera. She is survived by her daughter, Concepcion Gutierrez (Kim); son, Jose Luis Gutierrez, Jr.; son, Gabriel Gutierrez; daughter, Christina Moody (John); adoptive daughter, Sabrena Caamano; grandson, Alfonso L. Gutierrez; granddaughter, Anjalisa M.Gutierrez; grandson, Darius C. Gutierrez; grandson, Jack C. Moody; granddaughter, Josephine C. Moody; adoptive granddaughter, Mikailah S. Caamano; many aunts, uncles, cousins and faithful friends and last but not least, her little, faithful companion to the very end, Tutu. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on March 10, 2017 at The Door Christian Fellowship Church, 2950 E. Irvington Rd. (SW corner of Country Club & Irvington), Tucson, AZ 85714. Immediately following the memorial, there will be a reception at the church's fellowship hall for those attending the service.
