Betty Jean Webster Rissberger

Betty Rissberger, left our world on February 2, 2010, after a brief illness. Born in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan on January 9, 1923, the 10th of 12 children to Edith and Ora Webster. Betty was an elementary school teacher in the Rochester, NY public school system for 28 years. After completing a Master’s Degree in School Administration, she became Assistant Principal at Frederick Douglas Middle School until her retirement in 1978. Betty is survived by Fred, her husband of 64 years, and their three children, Gayle Cunningham, Fred (Karen) Rissberger of Rochester, NY and Edith (Ed) Schmitt (Knox, NY), as well as a sister, Nan. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. A Memorial service will be held Tuesday, February 9, 2010 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Martinez Funeral Chapels, 891 W. Mariposa, Nogales, AZ.
