Aurora N. Mares 77, of Tucson, AZ, passed away on February 22nd, 2010 Survived by children, Arnold Mares, Jr. (Betty), Richard Mares and Elizabeth Mares; Godson, Mark Palacios; sister, Yolanda Palacios; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and many godchildren, nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Manuel Mares; parents, Socorro Palacios and Refugio Nunez; brothers, Eddie Palacios and Joe Nunez and sister, Maria Palacios. Special thanks to staff of TMC-ICU and Pepe's Hospice Staff, Dr. Garcia, Dr. Harmon and to all of our friends and family who provided us with support. Visitation will be Friday, February 26th, 2010 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m., Rosary 7:00 p.m. at MARTINEZ FUNERAL CHAPELS. Mass will be Saturday, February 27th, 2010 10:30 a.m. at St. Margarets Catholic Church. Burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
