Amelia R. Obregon

Amelia R. Obregon 83, passed away on February 21, 2010. Survived by her husband of 63 years, Alfonso; five children, Maria Granica (David), Alfonso Obregon, Jr. (Stephanie), Lucia Navarro (Lauro), Barbara Arellano (Ken) and the late Linda Torres (Richard); sister, Martha Montano (Benny); 11 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Not only did she open her door to everyone, she opened her heart to them also. She was an excellent cook and loved to dance with her soulmate Alfonso, whom she's known since 3rd grade! She will be greatly missed by all whom she touched. Visitation will be on Sunday, February 28, 2010 at MARTINEZ FUNERAL CHAPELS 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Mass will be on Monday, March 1, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Margaret's with a burial to follow at Holy Hope Cemetery.
