SONORA Consuelo Noriega Lozano born Dec. 26, 1926, was called home to be with our Lord on March 2, 2010, after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease. She was preceded in death by the love of her life, her husband, Carlos Lozano Sr.; her eldest son, Israel Lozano Sr.; and a great-great grandson, Ethan Rocha. She is survived by the late Israel Lozano Sr's children, Israel Jr., Ismael and Michelle. She is survived by four sons Carlos Lozano and wife Mercedes of Lamesa, Texas, and their children, Brenda, Joanne, Cathy, Benedict and Sandra; Raynaldo Lozano and wife Angela of Sonora, Texas, and their children, Ray, Sesario and Rachel; Joe Lozano of San Angelo, Texas, and his children, Melissa, Clarissa, Joe, Jesse and Justin; and Homer Lozano of Sonora, Texas, and his children, Adam, Homer Jr., Sonny, Teres, Nicholas and Jalesa. She is survived by four daughters, Alma Brazee of Sonora, Texas, and her children, Abel, Pete and Lee; Sandi Espinosa and husband Gabriel of Sonora, Texas, and their children, Eric and Staci; Elsa Mata of Seldelote, Texas, and her children, Erika, John, Christie and Jason and Linda Perez and husband Rudy of Midland, Texas, and their children, Patty and Pamela. Survived by great-grandson, Alex. She is also survived by 56 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be her granddaughters, Rachel Lozano, Erika Lozano-Mendez, Pamela Perez, Christie Ayala, Staci Robles, Melissa Lozano-Hester, Jalesa Lozano and Sandra Lozano. Honorary pallbearers will be Esperanza Arredondo, Guadalupe Jimenez, Manuela Artiaga, Olivia Hernandez, Maggie Noriega and her sister, Mickey Chavez. Service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 6 at St. Ann's Catholic Church, Burial ceremony will follow in Sonora Cemetery. Services will be arranged by Kerbow Funeral Home.
