Armida Garcia Basurto

Armida Garcia Basurto 83, born February 5, 1927 in Tucson, AZ, went to be with our Lord on March 10, 2010. She was known for her unconditional love, selflessness, her passion for music and dancing. She is preceded in death by parents, Bernabe and Paula Garcia; brother, Richard; sisters, Refugio, Teresa, Margarita, Julia, Hermenia, Auroa, Elodia and Rose. Survived and loved by Gregorio husband of 63 years; daughter and caregiver, Sandra; son, Tony (Suzanne); granddaughter, Melissa (Manuel); great-grandson, David; brothers, Bernabe (Angela) and Abraham; sisters, Esperanza (Art), Celia (Bobby), Ofelia (Hector) and Angela as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial Services will be held at MARTINEZ FUNERAL CHAPELS on Friday, March 19, 2010 from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., with a Rosary at 8:30 a.m. Mass will follow at Santa Cruz Church at 10:30 a.m. followed with interment at Holy Hope Cemetery. Services entrusted to MARTINEZ FUNERAL CHAPELS, 2580 S. 6th Ave., Tucson, AZ.
