Francisco Moreno Salcido Born April 5, 1918, entered into his eternal rest on October 17, 2010. He is preceded in death by his wife of 44 years, Alicia; his parents, Juanita and Celestino; his brothers, Celestino, Alberto, Manuel, Jesus, Alejandro and his sisters, Carmela, Rita and Anita. He is survived by his daughters, Cecilia Gonzalez (Manuel), Alva Urbina (Jaun), Maria Rosas (Raul), Norma Rice (Mike) and his sons, Richard, Robert (Sandra), Frank (Frances), Arnold, Luis and Raul. He has 33 grandchildren and 67 great-grandchildren. Born in Santa Ana, Mexico, Frank worked as a rancher, professional boxer, policeman, miner and cement foreman. Frank is most remembered for his dedication to his family and his sense of humor. He enjoyed visits with friends and family to reminisce the old times and especially felt blessed watching his grandchildren enjoy his ranch. Goodbye and we'll miss you, Dad! We love you and miss you, Tata! Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 24, 2010, 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m., at MARTINEZ FUNERAL CHAPELS, 2580 S. 6th Ave. with a Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass will be offered Monday, October 25, 2010 9:30 a.m. at St. John The Evangelist Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Holy Hope Cemetery.
