Earlier this year, she decided to further her education and attend Pima Medical Institute. She graduated as a Certified Pharmacy Technician in July, just one week before she fell ill. Lina had a one of a kind sense of humor that no one could match. Her quick wit and clever humor kept us in stitches. She was a very talented and creative writer who wrote and spoke from the heart. She had a great love for animals, music (especially Elton John), Star Wars, WWE (Sheamus), Hockey (Murphy), books, and scary movies. Halloween was her favorite holiday - she and Justin made sure to celebrate it every year in great style.

Lina, our hearts are beyond broken. Although it is difficult to understand God’s plan, we take comfort in knowing you are no longer suffering. You are at peace in the arms of our Lord. You touched so many lives and didn’t even know it - you were a treasure indeed. We will hold close in our hearts the many wonderful memories you’ve blessed us with over the years. We will always love you and miss you ~ forever in our hearts our sweet angel.
