Agapito M. Pinedo, born on March 17, 1958, in Douglas, AZ, passed away on August 11, 2023, in Tucson, AZ. He was a tire technician, dedicating over 25 years of his life to his career. Agapito was a beloved father, grandfather, brother, son, uncle and friend who will be deeply missed by all.
Agapito had a vibrant personality that touched the lives of everyone he encountered. He had an incredible sense of humor and was always ready with a joke to bring laughter into any situation. He was the life of every gathering. Agapito had a unique talent for giving people nicknames that would stick with them fondly throughout their lives.
One of the fondest memories people have of Agapito is spending time with him during the holidays. He had a special way of making these occasions memorable with his infectious laughter and loving presence. His caring and affectionate nature extended beyond family gatherings; Agapito was always respectful of others and went out of his way to make everyone feel valued and appreciated.
Outside of work and family life, Agapito had two great passions - his boom truck and horse racing. He found joy in operating his boom truck and loved the feeling of accomplishment it brought him. Every weekend, he would embark on a journey to attend horse races, where he experienced the thrill of watching these magnificent animals compete. Country music served as the soundtrack to these moments that brought him immense happiness.
Agapito's proudest accomplishments were undoubtedly his children and grandchildren. He cherished every moment spent with them and took great pride in their accomplishments. Patrick Agapito Pinedo (Beatrice) and Crystal Marie Pinedo (Jonathan) will forever hold their father's love close to their hearts.
In addition to his children, Agapito leaves behind a strong support system of family members including his brothers, Hector, Phil, Daniel, Benjamin, Joey, and Jesse. His sisters Yolanda, Christine and Frances will continue to honor his memory as well as his grandchildren, Gennario, Brianna, Bernadette, Marcellino, Patrick Jr. and Alianna. He also leaves behind the mother of his children, Norma Pinedo. Agapito also had many friends who will forever cherish the moments they shared with him. He was preceded in death by his parents, Felipe D. Pinedo and Sixta M. Pinedo and sister, Evangelina Cruz.
A visitation service to celebrate Agapito's life will be held on August 31, 2023, from 5:30 PM to 9:30 PM at Martinez Funeral Chapels - Tucson located at 2580 S 6th Ave, Tucson, AZ 85713. Mass will be held on Friday, September 1, 2023 at St. John's Catholic Church followed by a burial at Holy Hope Cemetery.
During this time of mourning, let us remember Agapito M. Pinedo as a man full of laughter and love. He brightened the lives of those around him with his magnetic personality and genuine care for others. Agapito's memory will live on in the hearts of all who were lucky enough to have known him. May he rest in eternal peace.
