He successfully raised 6 children with his wonderful wife. Albert proudly served his county in the Korean War. I proudly want to represent you, my Tata. I want to thank you for everything you have done for my mom and me. Thank you for being the father figure I never had in my life as you watched over my mom and I. Words cannot express how grateful and thankful I am to call you my Tata. I am truly grateful to have the opportunity to take care of you until the end. I would do it over and over, again, willingly because you are my Tata. This is part of the obituary that was written by my mother, Maria before she passed away. She was not able to finish it and I wanted to finish what she had started. “My father, Albert, met my mom, Jesus, while cleaning bank offices. He saw and fell in love with that tall, thin, woman working with them. He told his friend that she was going to be his. It took time and effort to win her heart. Once she found out he liked her, he kept insisting on a date but she rejected him because she thought he was too short. This story brought laughter to all of us. After months of repeated requests, she finally gave in. He took her dancing and it was then that she fell head over heals for him. She brought him home to meet all six of her family members and soon married him. He instantly became our dad and his family accepted us with open arms. He was a great man. I love you, dad, forever and always. You’re the best father there ever was.” He loved my mom and us unconditionally. I am forever grateful for everything you have done. Now you can dance with mom in Heaven!
