Alda Franco, 37, was born on May 4th, 1987 in El Monte, California. She passed away on Saturday March 30, 2025. Alda was far too young but lived a full life. In her youth, she interned with Raul Grijalva- making her the youngest person to intern with a congressman at that time. She would carry around goody bags for those without homes filled with snack, socks, toothbrushes and water. She would go to Armory Park to pass out food so that those less fortunate than her would be able to have a warm meal for the night. Never did she hesitate to help those who were having a difficult time. She would do so without judgement and always showed them grace and humanity. Alda always tried to be strong in everything she encountered but underneath her tough exterior, she was a soft and fragile person with so much kindness and compassion for others.
Alda had a unique ability to connect with others and was surrounded by people she had so much respect and admiration for. If she loved you, she was your biggest cheerleader. She always encouraged others in their endeavors, offered a shoulder to those who needed someone to lean on and was always ready for the next adventure with those she cherished.
She had a strong bond with many people including her best friend Rosie, but was especially close to her immediate family. She leaves behind her parents, Alda and Javier Franco as well as her older brother, Jorge Franco and little sister, Wendy Franco.
