Alejandrina Dicochea, una querida madre, abuela y amiga, nació el 10 de enero de 1942 en Trincheras, Sonora, México. Con un corazón lleno de amor y bondad, tocó las vidas de quienes la rodeaban hasta que falleció pacíficamente el 16 de febrero de 2025 en Tucson, Arizona.

A lo largo de su vida, Alejandrina fue una fuente de fortaleza y compasión para su familia. Su mayor orgullo vino de ser una madre devota de sus hijos, Jesús Antonio Dicochea  (Michelle Paz), y sus queridas hijas, María Del Carmen Dicochea, María Eugenia Dicochea, Guadalupe Dicochea (Miguel Anselmo)  y Alma Alicia Dicochea (Arturo Nemer). Amaba incondicionalmente a cada uno de sus 23 nietos y 19 bisnietos, llenando su hogar de calidez y risas.

Los intereses de Alejandrina le produjeron una inmensa alegría. Encontró paz al pasar tiempo de calidad con su familia, reuniéndolos para crear recuerdos duraderos llenos de amor. A menudo pasaba las mañanas al aire libre, donde se sentaba en el abrazo de la naturaleza, observando a los pájaros revoloteando con gracia mientras cuidaba sus queridas plantas. Estos sencillos momentos reflejaron su aprecio por la belleza de la vida y los vínculos que fomentó.

Su familia y amigos la recordarán con cariño por su dedicación inquebrantable, su espíritu cariñoso y la alegría que encontraba en la vida cotidiana. Su difunto esposo, Jesús Dicochea, junto con su hijo, Miguel Fernando Zúñiga, y su hija, María Lorenia Dicochea, la recibieron con los brazos abiertos mientras se embarca en su próximo viaje. 

La familia invita a todos aquellos que conocieron y amaron a Alejandrina a celebrar su vida durante el velorio el 21 de febrero de 2025, de 5:00 p.m. a 9:00 p.m. en Martinez Funeral Chapels - Nogales, ubicado en 891 W Mariposa Rd, Nogales, AZ. Al día siguiente, 22 de febrero de 2025, se llevará a cabo una Misa en la Iglesia Católica del Sagrado Corazón a las 10:00 a.m., seguida de su entierro en el Cementerio de la ciudad de Nogales a las 11:15 a.m.

Al despedirnos de una mujer extraordinaria, Alejandrina Dicochea deja atrás un legado de amor, resiliencia y el espíritu duradero de familia que siempre resonará en los corazones de sus seres queridos.

Alejandrina Dicochea, a cherished mother, grandmother, and friend, was born on January 10, 1942, in Trincheras, Sonora, Mexico. With a heart full of love and kindness, she touched the lives of those around her until she peacefully passed away on February 16, 2025, in Tucson, Arizona.

Throughout her life, Alejandrina was a source of strength and compassion for her family. Her greatest pride came from being a devoted mother to her sons, Jesus Antonio Dicochea (Michelle Paz), and her treasured daughters, Maria Del Carmen Dicochea, Maria Eugenia Dicochea, Guadalupe Dicochea (Miguel Anselmo), and Alma Alicia Dicochea (Arturo Nemer). She loved each of her 23 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren unconditionally, filling her home with warmth and laughter.

Alejandrina’s interests brought her immense joy. She found peace in spending quality time with her family, gathering them together to create lasting memories filled with love. Her mornings were often spent outside, where she would sit in the embrace of nature, observing the birds gracefully fluttering by while tending to her beloved plants. These simple moments reflected her appreciation for life’s beauty and the bonds she nurtured.

She will be lovingly remembered by her family and friends for her unwavering dedication, her nurturing spirit, and the joy she found in everyday life. Her late husband, Jesus Dicochea, along with her son, Miguel Fernando Zuniga, and daughter, Maria Lorena Dicochea, have welcomed her with open arms as she embarks on her next journey.

The family invites all those who knew and loved Alejandrina to celebrate her life during the visitation on February 21, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Martinez Funeral Chapels - Nogales, located at 891 W Mariposa Rd, Nogales, AZ. The following day, February 22, 2025, a Mass will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church at 10:00 AM, followed by her burial at Nogales City Cemetery at 11:15 AM.

As we say our goodbyes to a remarkable woman, Alejandrina Dicochea leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience, and the enduring spirit of family that will forever resonate in the hearts of those she cherished.
